AZ6A1338editcAfter receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Irvine, I spent ten years working at a local biotechnology company that developed experimental cancer treatments. In the middle of that career, I experienced a severe case of eczema. Conventional biomedicine provided little relief with steroid creams. It was my acupuncturist that helped me heal. She assessed my health history, lifestyle and diet, administered acupuncture and prescribed herbal medicines. She addressed me and my issues holistically, and the results were astonishing! This holistic approach to healthcare was one of several major factors that sparked my interest in studying traditional east Asian medicine.

I took the plunge when I decided to leave my job and pursue a degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the prestigious South Baylo University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I obtained both my masters and doctoral degrees at South Baylo.

During my career I have witnessed the life-changing impact acupuncture and herbal medicine can have on serious ailments;  ailments such as fibromyalgia, Bell’s Palsy, headaches from post-traumatic brain injuries, infertility, endometriosis, glaucoma and various debilitating pain syndromes.

My passion is to help lead people away from a life of suffering by way of holistic primary care. I aim to spread and educate people on the POWERS of traditional east Asian medicine and the impact it can have on people’s lives.
